The OPOP UNI K series is the right choice if you want to use various types of pellets, wood chips and firewood as fuel. The boiler body is made of cast iron – it is manufactured by one of the leading cast iron boiler manufacturers in the Czech Republic. The boiler can be fired with wood, peat, straw pellets, grain, wood chips, firewood, coal and briquettes. The pellet/wood boiler is convenient and easy to use.
The system is controlled using the OPOP heating boiler control panel, which is equipped with the following functions:
- 4 operating modes (normal, night/day, calendar, economy)
- 2 temperature sensors for hot water (domestic water and heating water)
- 2 safety sensors (outlet water temperature and pellet feeder overheat sensor (backfire))
- Connection to room thermostat
- Control of pellet feed quantity
- Pellet feeder operation with intervals
- Adjustment of air supply volume
- Ability to regulate heating and domestic hot water temperature
The boiler has high fire safety. The boiler system is hermetically sealed, which eliminates any possibility of air entering the pellet tank or feeder. For additional protection, a special thermovalve has been installed which, in the event of high temperature, supplies water from a separate tank to extinguish the flame in the screw/pellet feeder.
