Heat pump installation

COMMODUS installs heat pumps of any complexity. We install equipment purchased from us as well as equipment bought elsewhere. For equipment purchased from us, we offer a very attractive installation price. A 5-year warranty is provided for installation works. We can confidently say that we provide the highest-quality installation in Latvia.

COMMODUS installs heat pumps of any complexity. We install equipment purchased from us as well as equipment bought elsewhere. We can confidently say that we provide the highest-quality installation in Latvia.

Standard air-to-air heat pump installation includes:

  • Free specialist visit for site inspection (within Riga, Jurmala, Jelgava, Dobele, Saldus and Tukums)
  • Installation of the indoor and outdoor heat pump units without using a lift.
  • Preparation of the heat pump connecting route (pipes are not built into the wall; they run on the surface with or without a covering trunking), drilling one hole in a wall up to 0.8 m thick
  • Installation of refrigerant, control cable and condensate lines over a length of 5 metres. Pipes and cables are not included in the price.
  • Fastening covering trunking over a length of 4 metres. The trunking is not included in the price.
  • Connecting the heat pump to the distribution board using a new or existing circuit breaker, or to a socket. The cable and circuit breaker are not included in the price.
  • Heat pump start-up and operation check.
  • User training.

  • Connecting refrigerant and condensate pipes and control cable:

Copper pipes 1/4 and 3/8 – 10 EUR/m
Copper pipes 1/4 and 1/2 – 11 EUR/m
Copper pipes 3/8 and 5/8 – 15 EUR/m
Copper pipes 1/2 and 3/4 – 17 EUR/m

  • Covering trunking for refrigerant, condensate and control cable lines – 5.70 EUR/m
  • Electrical cable 1 – 2 EUR/m
  • Additional holes for routing heat pump communications:

In plasterboard – 4 EUR
In a partition or load-bearing wall up to 0.6 m – 8 EUR
In a partition or load-bearing wall over 0.6 m – 14 EUR

  • Condensate pump – 75.50 EUR
  • Transport costs outside the towns specified for standard installation – 0.20 EUR/km (there and back)
  • Use of a lift:

Up to 15 m – 75 EUR
Over 15 m – 115 EUR

  • Other non-standard works – price by agreement

Wall-mounted unit 2-7 kW, fan mechanism cleaning required – 80 EUR + VAT

Ceiling cassette or wall/ceiling console air conditioner – 80 EUR + VAT

Ceiling cassette or wall/ceiling console air conditioner, fan mechanism cleaning required – 120 EUR + VAT

Equipment installed by other companies:

Wall-mounted unit 2-7 kW – 70 EUR + VAT

Wall-mounted unit 2-7 kW, fan mechanism cleaning required – 110 EUR + VAT

Ceiling cassette or wall/ceiling console air conditioner – 110 EUR + VAT

Ceiling cassette or wall/ceiling console air conditioner, fan mechanism cleaning required – 150 EUR + VAT

Central-heating heat pump maintenance costs:

Air-to-water heat pump – 90 EUR + VAT

Ground source heat pump – 90 EUR + VAT

Repair/diagnostics call-out (if it is not a warranty case):

  • For equipment that receives annual maintenance:

Transport 0.30 EUR/km + 50 EUR/h work on site

  • Equipment purchased from COMMODUS or partners, but without annual maintenance:

Transport 0.50 EUR/km + 60 EUR/h work on site

  • Equipment not purchased from COMMODUS:

Transport 0.50 EUR/km + 90 EUR/h work on site.

For repair visits outside working hours, from 20:00 to 08:00 and on weekends, a +50% coefficient is applied.
