Installation of 230 m² of Underfloor Heating in a Private House in Limbaži

We will not list them all — everyone can probably immediately think of the main benefit that matters most to them and can be felt as soon as they step onto the floor…

Here is a brief overview and description of an underfloor heating installation project.

Installation of 230 m² of underfloor heating in a private house in Limbaži:

The floors were fully prepared for concreting.

1.On the ground floor, the base was levelled and cleaned, a vapour barrier membrane and 10 cm of expanded-polystyrene thermal insulation were installed, followed by foil and reinforcement mesh. Uponor plastic pipes for hydronic underfloor heating were then secured to the mesh with cable ties and laid in a spiral pattern, with five circuits at 10 cm spacing along the external walls and 20 cm spacing inside the rooms. This arrangement ensures an even floor temperature throughout the space.

2.On the first floor, a vapour barrier membrane, 3–5 cm of thermal insulation and multifoil were installed.

Reinforcement mesh and Uponor underfloor-heating pipes were then laid on top in a spiral pattern.
